Brake switch wiring harness
connector(C112) DISCONNECTED

Check the continuity between
pin 4 of the brake switch wiring
harness connector  and  battery
ground
Check the continuity   between
pin 2 of the brake switch wiring
harness connector  and battery
ground

Is the continuity

exists?

Examine the short circuit in
brake switch signal wires to
ground
Replace the wiring harness
Clear the DTC and verify

Ignition OFF
EMS ECU wiring harness
connector (C4) DISCONNECTED
Brake switch wiring harness
connector(C112) DISCONNECTED

Check the continuity  between
pin 4  and pin 2 of the brake
switch wiring harness connector

STEP 5

Is the continuity

exists?

Examine the short circuit
between brake switch signal
wires
Replace the wiring harness
Clear the DTC and verify

Suspect faulty brake switch
Replace the switch with a new
one
Clear the DTC and verify
