When computing mole fraction, however, temperature and pressure do need to be known as
accurately as possible. Here, errors in pressure and temperature are directly proportional to
errors in mole fraction.  For example, in typical conditions, a 1% error in pressure (1 kPa) or a
1% error in temperature (3 °C) will result in a 1% error in concentration (3 to 4 µmol mol
