Master unit displays outdoor unit number that
has not been transmitting; slave unit displays
its own error number.
1. Power wiring / communication cable
connections are loose. (Connections have
disconnected or have shorted out).
2. Outdoor unit main PCB is defective.

outdoor unit(s) DIP switch
setting(s) correct?

Replace main PCB.
Check the DIP switch settings and change if
necessary.

Is the main PCB power on?

Connect power wiring.
Check if shielded wiring is
used.
1. Push the reset button (a communication error
may have occurred).
2. If the main cause is noise, change to a shield-
ed communication wire.

Check if GND wire is connect-
ed to the chassis.

Connect GND wire with chassis. (If not connect-
ed, a communication error may have occurred.)
Confirm whether wiring
A and B are connected prop-
erly.
