VMIB Page Message
Description
A user can record a message in the VMIB that will be played whenever the Station initiates a
Page.
Operation
To record a VMIB Page Message,
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button or dial 563.
2. Dial 6 5.
3. The record a message prompt is heard and, if a message has been recorded, it is
played.
4. To start recording, dial ‘#‘ or, to delete the recording, press the [Speed] button.
5. After the beep tone, record the desired message.
6. Press the [HOLD/SAVE] button.
To activate VMIB Page Message,
1. Lift the handset.
2. Dial the desired Page Zone code.
3. After the Page Warning tone, if assigned, the VMIB Page Message is played over
the Page Zone(s).
4. Hang-up the handset to return to idle.
To delete a VMIB Page Message
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button.
2. Dial 6 7, the recorded message is deleted.
Consideration
When trying to initiate a page without lifting handset, “LIFT HANDSET TO PAGE” is
displayed on the LCD. This eliminates the potential feedback from the Station
speakerphone.
A VMIB Page Message is subject to Page Timeout.
If no Page Message is recorded in the VMIB, the user is connected to the Paging facilities
as in a normal Page.
The station must be allowed VMIB Access to record a Page Message.
