11.3 VMIB Auto Attendant Announcement
Description
An announcement can be recorded with a corresponding CCR table and assigned as a back-up
Attendant. Should the Attendant not answer an incoming CO line call in the
DID/DISA
No-
answer time, the call is sent to the Auto Attendant announcement. The call is then routed
based on the caller input and the CCR Table.
Consideration
Only new incoming calls are routed to the Auto Attendant announcement. Recalls and
transferred calls are not sent to the Auto Attendant.
The CO line must be assigned for DISA service for proper operation otherwise, the
system will not recognize incoming digits and will disconnect after playing the
announcement.
If the CO line is assigned to ring at multiple stations, the call is not sent to the Auto
Attendant.
