Feature Description and Operation Manual

ISDN lines that support Call Deflection must be enabled for ISDN Call Deflection in the

ipLDK database.



The ISDN may limit the number of Call Deflections for a call, if the call has been deflected

before being offered to the ipLDK, the ISDN may reject the deflection request. Generally,
the ISDN will permit up to five deflections for a call.

ISDN Call Reroute, CFNR (Call Forward No-response)

Description

When the ISDN Supplementary Service “Call Reroute” is supported on an ISDN line, a user can
forward incoming calls on the ISDN line to a different line over the ISDN without using ipLDK
resources.    The ISDN call is offered to the ipLDK user and if no response is received in the
ISDN’s no-response timer, the ISDN re-routes the call.

When Call Reroute is used, the system sends a call-reroute request message with the
telephone number to receive calls to the ISDN.    The ISDN then sends incoming calls to the
desired telephone number after the no-response timer.    Call Reroute remains active until the
user deactivates the forward.

Operation

To activate ISDN Call Reroute to an external number from the station,

1.  Lift the handset or press the [On/Off] button.
2.  Press the [DND/FOR] button or dial the Forward code ‘5 4 4’.
3.  Dial the Call Forward type code 9.
4.  Seize a CO Line, optional.
5.  Dial the Speed Dial bin or telephone number.
6.  Return to idle.

To deactivate ISDN Call Reroute at the station,

1. Press the flashing [DND/FWD] button.

Or

1. Lift the handset or press the [On/Off] button.
2. Dial ‘5 5 9’, the DND/FWD Cancel code.
