Feature Description and Operation Manual

4.20 Time & Date

Description

The Time and Date can be set by the Attendant, in Admin or automatically retrieved from the
ISDN or PSTN when available.  The ISDN network will send the local time and date in the
CONNECT message when the called party answers.    The system can employ this information
to set the system time and date.    In addition, where desired, the systems supports automatic
Daylight Savings Time Adjustment, at the assigned start and end times, the system will adjust
the time back and forward by 1 hour.

Operation

To use the ISDN time and date for the system from the Attendant,

1.  Press the [TRANS/PGM] button.
2.  Dial 0 4 6
3.  Dial 1 to enable or 0 to disable.
4.  Press the [HOLD/SAVE] button.

Consideration



This feature may be set at the Attendant Station or through Admin.



For an analog CO line, the time and date is sent as part of the CLI.
