13.3 Attendant Forward
Description
An Attendant can forward calls to other stations in the system. When the Attendant activates
Unconditional Call Forward, the receiving station, if a DKT, will act as an Alternate Attendant
with access to Attendant features.
Operation
To activate call forward,
1. Lift the handset or press the [On/Off] button.
2. Press the [DND/FOR] button.
3. Dial the Call Forward type code, ‘1’ for unconditional Forward.
4. Dial station or Group number, or ‘#’ for the VMIB to receive calls.
5. Return to idle.
To activate Follow-me Call Forward from any station,
1. Lift the Handset or press the On/Off button.
2. Press the [DND/FOR] button.
3. Dial Call Forward Code ‘0’.
4. Dial forwarding station number.
5. Dial forwarding station Authorization Code.
6. Return to idle.
To deactivate Call Forward,
1. Press the [DND/FWD] button.
Or
2. Lift the handset or press the [On/Off] button.
3. Dial ‘5 5 9’, the DND/FWD Cancel code.
Consideration
The
Considerations
associated with Call Forward apply.
If an Attendant activates Unconditional Call Forward, the receiving station will receive
Attendant calls and recalls. In addition, if the receiving station is a DKT, the user will be
able to activate features normally reserved for a Main Attendant. If the receiving Station
is not a DKT, the station will receive Attendant calls and recalls but will not be able to
activate other Attendant features.
