Line Edge Sensor - LES
Line edge sensors determine the positions and
dimensions of objects via their edges. The
sensor determines the edge positions in mm
and, from those, calculates the object width and
height. These data are transferred to the
process control. One sensor can be used to
simultaneously detect up to four value pairs of
edges.
