Connecting the Printer to a Network

In the Add Port dialog box, click Network, and click Browse to display your 
network environment.

5.

Expand the levels to locate your printer and the queue you want to print to.

If your printer has a hard disk drive and 32MB of memory, three connections will 
automatically be created when the Ci1000 printer driver is installed. These 
connections are represented on the network by the Direct, Print and Hold printer 
icons. If your printer does not have a hard disk drive and 32MB of memory, only 
the Direct printer icon will be available.
