6-4 Setup from the Control Panel and WebSetup
DEFAULT PAPER SIZE:
LETTER/A4
Use this option to specify the default paper size to print on. Information pages
from the
PRINT PAGES FROM LIST
menu (Menu Help, Configuration page, PS Font
list, and Test page) are printed on the default paper size, either
LETTER
or
A4
.
ENABLE SMOOTHING
YES/NO [YES]
Use this option to specify font smoothing.
TONER LOW
CONTINUE/STOP [STOP]
Use this option to specify the behavior of the printer when toner in a cartridge is
low. Select
CONTINUE
to print even when toner is low; select
STOP
to stop printing
when the toner is low. If stop is selected and a print job is sent while toner is low,
the printer goes offline. When the toner has been replaced and Enter is pressed,
the job is printed.

OTE
:
Replace toner soon after the Toner Low/Replace [toner color] message
appears in the LCD.
PostScript setup
The PostScript setup menus enable you to set PostScript printing options.
(Default values, where applicable, appear in square brackets.)
PS SETUP
To advance to the
PRINT TO ERR
screen, press Enter.
PRINT TO PS ERR
YES/NO [NO]
Use this option to specify whether the portion of a print job processed before
encountering a PostScript error is printed. Select
YES
to print the portion of the
job that was processed and a description of the PostScript error, which may help
you troubleshoot the error; select
NO
to cancel printing when a PostScript error is
encountered.
