Upgrade options

The following upgrade options and consumables are available for the Ci1000
Color Printer from you local Mita reseller:

Upgrade options

• 2nd Feeder for high volume printing

• Ethernet or Token Ring network card

• 2.1 GB Hard Disk Drive for storing print jobs, and additional fonts

• 16MB or 32MB RAM DIMMs

Three DIMM slots for additional memory are available on the printer. Each slot
can support a 16MB or 32MB RAM DIMM.

Installation Instructions

This following instructions describe how to install the following options on the
Ci1000 Color Printer color printer:

• 2.1 GB IDE hard disk drive

• 16MB or 32MB RAM DIMMs

• Ethernet and Token Ring network cards

Removing and replacing the video controller board

You must remove the video controller board from the back of the Ci1000 in order
to install or replace the hard disk, add or replace memory, or install a Token Ring
or Ethernet network card.
