4.8 Calibrating pressure sensor
Screen 45 contains the calibration of the flow meter.
To calculate the correct flow/pressure the sensor needs to be
precisely calibrated.
For a correct calibration please follow up the steps below.
• Fill the sprayer with clear water and set all operating elements
to “Spraying”.
• Switch the power take-off shaft on and allow to run at 540 rpm.
• On the control box, switch all section switches to “On”.
• Central switch Spraying to “On”. And the regulator in the Manual
mode
• Measure the output of 5 in depended nozzles divided over the
boomlenght.
• Calculate the average output of the nozzles and divide it by the
number of nozzles.
• Compare the measured l/min with the calculated l/min in main
screen 2.
When the measured value on the nozzles is not the same as the
calculated flow in main screen 2 make the following adjustment
below
• When the measure value is higher than the calculated value in
screen 2 increase the pressure value in screen 45
• When the measure value is lower than the calculated value in
screen 2 decrease the pressure value in screen 45
The rest of the values in screen 45 should not be changed.
