4.10 Calibration and explanation steering system
Step 7) Adjust hydraulic steering speed
For a good reaction of the sprayer is it important to adjust the
hydraulic speed. The speed adjustment depends on the machine
configuration
Go to screen 38
• Check the proportional steering values signal to the steering
valve
(0V = close, 12V = open)
for a smooth opening and
closing signals are stepwise
• Adjust the oil flow from the tractor to
about 25 l/min
• Adjust the restrictor on the steering
valve block for fine tuning of the
cylinder speed

Changing difference between the A&B and C&D
Bigger difference = start and stop of cylinder slower but more fluent
Smaller difference = start and stop quicker but more aggressive
The centerspeed is the opening of the
steering valve in %. Between the big
dead zone and the small dead zone.
When the drawbar or axle is coming
close to its calibrated center position the
speed is reduced to 35%
