Observe transport width
Observe the permissible transport widths and, if necessary, fold the
machine into the transport position and lock it securely; install light-
ing equipment, alarms and protective devices. The driver and
keeper of the vehicle are liable should the road traffic regulations
not be observed.
Failure to observe these instructions may lead to accidents or to
damage to the machine.
Observe steering capability
The steering capability of the tractor must not be affected. When the
machine is in its transport position, there must be sufficient weight
on the steering axle.
Reduced steering capability cause accidents.
Check locking mechanisms
Check all locks for firm seating. Loose locking mechanisms can
open during road transport and cause unintended reactions of the
machine,
This can result in damage to the machine or accidents.
Trip ropes must hang loose
Trip ropes for quick-release couplings must hang loose and must
not, when in their lowered position, release the couplings of their
own accord.
Unintended tripping can cause serious accidents.
