Preparing for operation



Clean the trough, gear-box and surrounding area thoroughly



Remove the bolts and open the gear-box cover. Ensure that you
do not damage the seal.



Remove the circlips and gear wheels



Replace the gear wheels in accordance with the table above and
install

If the gear wheels do not interlock with each other straight away, turn
the input shaft accordingly.



Insert the circlips back into the groove precisely.



If relevant, replace damaged seal



Close the gear-box cover and check for correct seating of the seal



Tighten the bolts evenly



Replenish with the prescribed oil

Check the oil level and tightness of the seal



Oil the removed gear wheels thoroughly and store in a dry location

After replacing the gear wheels in the gear-box, pay particular
attention to hot machine components and hot oil during operation.
Check the oil level in the gear-box in these cases.
