Preparing for operation

Setting of the work-

ing depth

Prerequisite:

•

The machine is lifted by around 20 cm



Remove the lock nut used to lock the adjustment screw on both
roller sides



Unscrew the bolt on one of the two sides by approx. 1 cm, so that
it can then slide through the connecting link



On the opposite side on the inside, attach the spanner to the
leverage point



Hold the ring spanner with one hand and, with the other hand,
unscrew the second bolt on the outside by approx. 1 cm, so that it
can slide through the connecting link



Using the ring spanner as a lever, adjust the knife holder until the
bolt is in the desired position



Tighten the bolt and secure with the lock nut



Using the ring spanner as a lever, adjust the knife holder on the
other side until the bolt is in the desired position



Hold the ring spanner firmly with one hand and with the other hand,
tighten the bolt and secure with the lock nut


