Driving on the road
Safety
Before transporting the machine on public roads, read the following
safety information. Observing the safety instructions helps you to pre-
vent accidents.
General
Ensure that the condition of the machine conforms to traffic
regulations
The machine must conform to current road traffic regulations if you in-
tend to drive with it on public roads. This includes, for example:

Lighting, warning and protective devices must be fitted
•
With the machine folded, all brake, reversing, and turn indicator
lights as well as the number plate must be clearly visible. If a clear
view is not possible, the lighting equipment and the number plate
must be fitted to the attached machine.
•
The permissible transport width and weight, axle loads, tyre load-
bearing capacity and total weights are observed
•
The steering capability of the tractor must not be affected. When
the machine is in its transport position, there must be sufficient
weight on the steering axle.
•
The seed hopper must be empty for transport on public roads
•
Close the seed hopper with the cover
The driver and keeper of the vehicle are liable should the road traffic
regulations not be observed.
