Road transport
Before travelling on the road, check the following in particular:
The machine is folded in completely
The side plates are in transport position
The lift limiter is deactivated
The Hydrolift is in transport position
Track markers are secured
The lighting equipment is installed and operational
The emptying flap on the metering device is closed
Only drive with an empty seed hopper
Road transport should only be undertaken with an empty seed hop-
per.
A seed hopper which is not empty influences the driving behaviour
of the machine and can cause accidents when driving on roads.
Lock the control units
Lock all control units on the tractor when driving on the road and
close the shut-off valves on the hydraulic couplings.
Accidentally actuated control units can cause accidents.
Riding on the machine is strictly prohibited
Never transport persons or objects on the machine.
Riding on the machine is life-threatening and strictly prohibited.
Adapted driving speed
Always adapt the driving speed to the ambient conditions.
An excessive driving speed, on uneven terrain for example, can re-
sult in damage to the machine or accidents.
No sudden load changes
Avoid sudden load changes. Sudden load changes result from sud-
den movements to the right or left.
Sudden load changes can cause accidents.
Ensure clear visibility
Check the immediate vicinity before driving off. Always ensure an
unimpeded view and pay particular attention to any children within
the working area of the machine.
Persons who could be struck when the machine starts up can be
seriously or fatally injured.
