Only work in the direction of travel
The machine must only be in work position when facing in the
direction of travel. The machine must be lifted when reversing.
If the machine remains in work position when reversing, this can
cause significant damage to the machine.
Observe the maximum permissible deflection angle of the PTO
shaft
If the machine is in work position, the deflection angle of the PTO
shaft must not exceed 20°.
The maximum permissible deflection angle for the PTO shaft is 25°.
Lifting the machine beyond this
deflection angle
can cause signifi-
cant damage to the machine.
Deactivate the PTO before lifting the machine
Before lifting the machine, always switch off the tractor's PTO.
The PTO shaft could otherwise be seriously damaged.
Set the lower link balls of the tractor to floating position
Set the lower link balls of the tractor to floating position. The lower link
balls of the tractor must not be operated during position adjustment.
Otherwise, this will produce a substandard work result and lead to
premature wear of the tools.
