Flexline roller
During work, the scrapers continuously remove the soil that collects
on the rollers and thus prevent deposits.
The scrapers wear down over time.
Setting the scrapers
Make the same setting on both sides of the machine
Lift the machine
Use suitable equipment to secure the machine against accidental
lowering or dropping
Switch off the tractor and secure it against rolling away
Only release the nuts on the scraper bar and turnbuckle
Release the lock nut on the adjustment screw of the scraper bar
Adjust the adjustment screw on the scraper bar so that the
scrapers are as close as possible to the roller
Release the nuts on each individual scraper and push the scrapers
up against the roller
Re tighten the nut
Adjust the scraper bar using the adjustment screw so that the
scrapers are at a distance of 3 to 5 mm from the roller
Tighten the nuts on both sides of the packer roller
Tighten the lock nut on the adjustment screw of the scraper bar
Turn the roller by hand. None of the scrapers should touch the
roller
The scrapers can be worn down as far as the knife carrier.
