Preparations in the field

Performing the test

drive



First perform a test drive in the work position at the working speed
(10–12 km/h)



Readjust the working depth and the soil preparation tools if
necessary

Make the test drive first, without sowing, over a typical section of the
field. The headland or areas with obstacles are not suited for the test
drive.

After the test drive, check:

•

Degree of soil comminution

•

Working depth for the power harrow

•

Adjustment of the side plates

•

Working depth of the track eradicator

•

Adjustment of the levelling bar

•

Settings on the Hydrolift
