Before road transport
Remove soiling
Remove crop residue, stones and large clumps of earth.
During road transport, these foreign bodies can fall off the machine
and cause accidents.
Switch off the electronic control system
Prior to road transport, you must switch off the electronic control
system.
Otherwise, activating functions in the electronic control system by
mistake may cause the machine to move. This can result in dam-
age to the machine or accidents.
Close the ball valves
If there are ball valves on the hydraulic lines or chassis cylinders,
the ball valves must be closed for driving on the road.
Otherwise, accidental actuation of control units in the tractor could
trigger machine movements. This can result in damage to the ma-
chine or accidents.
Securing the track markers
Mechanical securing mechanisms are located on the track mark-
ers. The mechanical securing mechanisms prevent the undesirable
folding out of the track markers.
Accidents may result from the folding out of track markers while
travelling by road.
Check the road transport lighting equipment
Road transport lighting equipment must be clean and in working
condition.
Road transport lighting equipment which is dirty or does not func-
tion correctly can cause serious accidents.
