Replacing Bits

KVAL 990-FX Operation/Service Manual

How to Access to Bit Assemblies

Shutdown the machine and follow the “Lock Out Tag Out procedures.

After machine is locked and tagged out, loosen remove the screws from the Top

Dust Cover.

Fold back cover to access the bit assemblies.

Remove and Replace the Router or Pre-Drill Bits

After lockout tagout and access has been obtained to the assemblies, follow these
instructions to remove and replace the router bit or the pre-drill bit.

Use a 17 mm shaft wrench and a 3/8 “collet wrench to remove the bit on the pre-drill
or router assemblies.See
