5. During a file upload, the technician can cancel the file transfer by pressing the cancel
button or pressing record.
If file transfer is cancelled, file transfer will be reattempted after any of the
following:
i. Another recording is made
ii. Network disconnects and reconnects
iii. System reboots
6. After a file transfer successfully completes, the technician may notice the DVR
connecting and starting a file transfer session again. This is because the DVR is
connecting to the server to check if files have been verified. If all of the files have been
verified, the DVR will swiftly delete them from its internal media.
7. Confirm that all files have been transferred and verified by entering playback menu.
The technician should see that no files are being displayed.
Note: Occasionally, the technician may see a file remaining. This may be due to some
delay in verifying files or even a required retransfer. If this occurs, allow the
DVR to initiate a file transfer session again. Once this additional file transfer
session is complete, recheck the playback menu.
