Route the included Ethernet cable from the DVR to the mobile computer.
a. Connect the cable to the middle Ethernet port on the back of the DVR.
b. If needed, connect the Ethernet-to-USB adapter and insert into a USB port on the
mobile computer.

Configure the mobile computer’s network interface controller (NIC) (or USB port) to
communicate with the DVR.
Note: This step may require administration privileges to perform.
a. Click on the Start button and select Control Panel.
b. Click on Network Connections.
c. To determine which port the Ethernet cable is connected to, right-click on that
Network port and select Properties.

d. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 and select Properties
