8. Control system
The position and grinding depth of the serration tooth can be set here:
First position of the tooth: Press and hold “F9 Trigger On / Off” (8-4/10) until “Trigger Off” (8-
4/12) is highlighted in green. Move to the highest point of the first tooth (visible via red laser line
(8-3/1) and contour deviation display (8-4/3)) with “F5 PLUS” (8-4/7) and “F6 MINUS” (8-4/8).
Acknowledge with “F7 Enable / Disable” (8-4/9).
The program traces the complete knife and measures the teeth in doing so.
The gage stops at the lowest, first point. Determine the grinding depth with the help of “F1
PLUS” (8-4/4) and “F2 MINUS” (8-4/5).
Finally, start the program for re-serration with “F3 Enable / Disable” (8-4/6).
ATTENTION
Before starting the laser measurement,
carefully wipe the blade free of any dirt.
NOTICE
To regrind an individual tooth while the
serration program is running, activate the “F3
Enable / Disable” (8-4/6) touch panel button.
