All work on the machine may only be performed by authorized
personnel.
The locally applicable safety and accident prevention regulations must be
observed.
Never mount the knife without blade guard. This can result in serious
injuries.
CAUTION
7.1 Switching on the grinding machine
Set the main switch (3-7/2) to “I”. Wait for the controls to initialize. The main screen (3-9)
appears. The “Control ON” button (3-8/3) flashes and the signal lamp (3-7/1) illuminates in
yellow.
Press “Control ON” button (3-8/3), then turn key switch (3-8/9) to “0” position (automatic
mode).
7.2 Grinding the knives
7.2.1 Loading the grinding program
Press the “F11 Knife Selection” (7-1/1) touch
panel button on the main screen. The dialog box
for menu item “Open” appears. The grinding pro-
grams are located in the “Product Data” folder.
Then select the desired grinding program by dou-
ble clicking on the respective file. (grinding pro-
grams have the ending “.dat” in the file name).
The relevant grinding program is now loaded and
the “Open” dialog box is closed.
