There is a risk of clothing and hair getting entangled. There is a risk
of hands being crushed. This can result in serious injuries.
To prevent dust formation, always have the coolant tap on while
dressing, and direct the coolant hose at the grinding wheel.
Never dress with mounted knives.
This can result in serious cut injuries.
CAUTION
7.4 Dressing the front / rear grinding wheels
If the front grinding wheel is running out of true
or is loaded, it must be dressed.
Close the safety doors.
Go to the general manual functions via the “F9
Manual Functions” (3-9/15) main menu. Move the
grinding wheels to dressing position by pressing
the “Start” button (7-13/1) on the touch panel.
ATTENTION
Turn the “Setting Mode” key switch
(3-8/9) to “1” position (1 h).
Open the safety doors.
Switch on the front grinding wheel. To do that,
press the “On” touch panel button (7-13/3) in the
“Manual Functions”.
Insert the deburing lever (7-14/1) into the relevant
bushing as far as it will go. Move the dressing dia-
mond (7-14/2) with the deburing lever evenly over
the grinding wheel, which is in “On” position. The
dressing diamond is fed by rotating the feed nut
(7-14/3) in clockwise direction.
