5-4 Operations of Load Modes
5.3 Response Speed
You can change the response speed (slew rate) of both rising and falling time that are
effective when load is ON/OFF and load condition changes. The response speed depends on
the current range selected then. The max response speed are 200A/
μ
sec at 120A range and
20A/
μ
sec at 12A range.
Note: response speed of both rising and falling time is identically setup.
The load mode in which you can change the response speed are as follows:
1. CC mode
2-200A/
μ
s (120A range) / 0.2-20A/
μ
s (12A range)
2. CV mode 0.1-100% (loop gain)
3. EXT. mode 2-200A/
μ
s (120A range) / 0.2-20A/
μ
s (12A range)
Notes: CV mode
In CV mode, setting value is loop gain, ranging from 0.1% (slow) to 100% (fast).
This value can be fixed regardless of volt. range selected.
Oscillation.
If oscillation happened due to the combined condition of response speed of this product
and the target device connected, please adjust to decrease the loop gain value to slow
response speed of this product to stop the oscillation. The proper value depends on
target devices.
How to change response speed
Check if select load mode is a load mode where you can change the response speed.
In the LOAD CONTROL menu, press “F2” key to display a window where you can
change the value.
Use tem keys to input value.
Press “ENT” key to confirm the value and the value becomes effective
5.4 Curr. Limit Setting
You can limit the load curr. The curr. limit is effective regardless of the load mode selected.
This function allows you to prevent to flow too large a current in CV mode etc. to protect
devices.
How to change curr. limit
In the LOAD CONTROL menu, press “F1” key to display a window where you can
change the value.
Use tem keys to input value.
Press “ENT” key to confirm the value and the value becomes effective
