Waveform Generator
To specify the expected output load

If the Waveform Generator Menu is not currently displayed on the
oscilloscope's softkeys, press the
[Wave Gen]
key.

In the Waveform Generator Menu, press the
Settings
softkey.

In the Waveform Generator Settings Menu, press the
Out Load
softkey and turn
the Entry knob to select:

High-Z
The output impedance of the Gen Out BNC is fixed at 50 ohms. However, the
output load selection lets the waveform generator display the correct amplitude
and offset levels for the expected output load.
If the actual load impedance is different than the selected value, the displayed
amplitude and offset levels will be incorrect.
To use waveform generator logic presets
With logic level presets, you can easily set the output voltage to TTL, CMOS
(5.0V), CMOS (3.3V), CMOS (2.5V), or ECL compatible Low and High levels.

In the Waveform Generator Logic Level Presets Menu, press one of the softkeys
to set the generated signal's Low and High voltages to logic compatible levels:

The Sync signal is a TTL positive pulse that occurs when the waveform
rises above zero volts (or the DC offset value).
