PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
Removing Poly-V-belt 7PK - Alternator and A/C Compressor
1 Move the tensioner against the spring force and lock it with a 4-
5mm thick locking pin or drill bit.
2 Remove the poly-V-belt from the guide roller first and then from
the alternator and air-conditioning compressor pulleys.
3 Move the tensioner against the spring force and lock it with a 4-5
mm thick locking pin or drill bit.
4 Remove the poly-V-belt from the guide roller first and then from
the alternator pulleys.
PULLEYS:
1. Water Pump
2. Engine Fan
3. Spring Loaded Tensioner Pulley x 2
4. A/C Compressor
5. Alternator
6. Crankshaft, Harmonic Balancer
7. Idler Pulleys x 2
BELTS:
A. Fan & Coolant Pump 9PK Belt
B. Alternator & A/C Compressor 7PK Belt

Replacing Poly V belt 7PK - Alternator and A/C Compressor
1 Position the poly-V-belt over the alternator and air conditioning
compressor pulleys and route it correctly.
2 Move the tensioner against the spring tension and remove the
locking pin.
3 Position the tensioner against the belt.
4 Place the poly-V belt (B) over the alternator pulleys.
5 Move the tensioner against the spring tension and remove the
locking pin.
