20 Data Password
The Data Password protects the transceiver’s
programming data. You must enter the password
before you can edit the programmed data. You can
program the Code (up to 6 characters) using
numbers 1 ~ 4. Following is the password entry
method.
Writing or reading the programming data
using the KPG-80D:
Select “Program > Write to radio/ Read from
radio” to display the “Input Data Password”
window. Enter the password in the widow.
Self Programming Mode
“SELFLOCK” appears when the transceiver
enters the Self Programming Mode. The
following keys represent the correspondng
numbers:

[SCN] 2

] 3
[

[CH DOWN]
Password confirmation
The transceiver enters the Self Programming
Mode when the entered password matches the
programmed password “SELF” appears.
“SELFLOCK” appears when the entered
password is wrong.
Clone Mode
“CLN LOCK” appears when the transceiver
enters the Clone Mode. The following keys
represent the correspondng numbers:
