17.2 Configuring the Function Port of the SmarTrunk Board

Select “Edit > Function Port” in the FPU Menu.

Select SmarTrunk for the External Devices to assign functions to each port for operating the SmarTrunk
board.

Select “Program > Write to Radio” in the FPU Menu.
Select SmarTrunk.
All necessary parameters for the
SmarTrunk are automatically
configured.

The configuration data is sent to the transceiver.

The SmarTrunk board automatically activates when the transceiver is turned ON.
Note:
Select “Edit > SmarTrunk” in the FPU menu to change the SmarTrunk configuration. Write the data to the SmarTrunk board
in the “Program > Write Data to Trunking Board” display.

Read the configuration data of the SmarTrunk in “Program > Read Data from Trunking Board”.
