Connect one end of the KCT-39 to the transceiver. Refer to Section “11 KCT-39” for installation.

Connect the opposite end of the KCT-39 to the KDS-100.

Program the Function Port using KPG-80D, to activate the KDS-100.

Select “Edit > Function Port” in the Menu.

Select KDS-100 for the External Devices to assign functions to each port for operating the KDS-100.

All necessary parameters for the
KDS-100 are automatically
configured.

Select “Program > Write to Radio” in the FPU Menu.

The configuration data is sent to the transceiver.

The KDS-100 automatically activates when the transceiver is turned ON.

You must use KPG-71D to program the KDS-100.

Select “Edit > Optional Features > Radio” in the FPU Menu to program the logic of each port.
