16 KGP-2A/2B

Connect one end of the KCT-39 to the transceiver. Refer to Section “11 KCT-39” for installation.

Connect the opposite end of the KCT-39 to the KGP-2A or KGP-2B.

Program the Function Port using KPG-80D, to activate the KGP-2A or KGP-2B.

Select “Edit > Function Port” in the menu.

Select KGP-2A/2B for the External Devices to assign functions to each port for operating the KDS-100.

Select KGP-2A/2B

All necessary parameters for
KGP-2A/2B setup are
automatically configured.

Select “Program > Write to Radio” in the FPU Menu.

The configuration data is sent to the transceiver.

The KGP-2A/2B automatically activates when the transceiver is turned ON.

Note:

You must use KPG-73D to program the KGP-2A/2B.

Note:

Select “Edit > Hardware Setup” in the FPU Menu to program the logic of each port.
