Note:
CN4 is the connector used for a SmarTrunk board.
You can connect CN2/CN3 to the KGP-2A/2B (GPS)
or the KDS-100 (MDT).
Transcrypt SC20-460 is installed on CN2/CN3 when
connecting via the cable.
Note:
You must be cautious when using CN4 and CN2/CN3
at the same time, as they share several terminals.
13.2
Function Port Description
You can program CN2 ports FNC1 ~ FNC8 (Function
Port) using the FPU.
You can program the Function Port in Edit > Function
Port using the FPU.
Port 1 ~ Port 8 in the FPU corresponds to FNC1 ~
FCN 8 of CN2.
13.2.1 External
Devices
You can assign a function for each port. With this
function, Port 1 ~ Port 8 are customized when
selecting devices to install.
None
You can program Port 1 ~ Port 8.
KDS-100
You can program the KDS-100 when connecting it
to the TK-7100H/8100H using CN2/CN3.
Configurations of External Devices and the
KDS-100, are the same when configuring Port 1 ~
Port 8 with the value set at the KDS-100 even if
the External Devices is None.
Refer to Section “15 KDS-100” for details.
KGP-2A/2B
You can program the KGP-2A/2B when
connecting it to the TK-7100H/8100H using
CN2/CN3.
The programming of External Devices and the
KDS-100 are the same when configuring Port 1 ~
Port 8 with the value set at the KGP-2A/2B, even if
the External Devices is None.
Refer to “16 KGP-2A/2B” for details.
SmarTrunk
You can program the SmarTrunk ST-865KW4
when installing it using CN4.
The SmarTrunk does not activate when the
External Devices is None.
Refer to Section “17 SmarTrunk” for details.
Scrambler
You can program the Scrambler Board when
connecting it to the TK-7100H/8100H using
CN2/CN3.
The programming of External Devices and the
KDS-100 are the same when configuring Port 1 ~
Port 8 with the value set at the Scrambler Board,
even if the External Devices is None.
Note:
You can connect the KDS-100 and KGP-2A/2B to the
same terminal. Therefore, you can connect the
KDS-100 when the KGP-2A/2B is selected, and vice
versa.
