Cy lin dri cal pro be (PS10)
This pro be has a dia me ter of only 2.5 cm (1 inch) and is 26 cm (10.5 in -
ches) long. It co mes with 10 me ters con nec ti on ca ble and can be lo we -
red into cracks, gaps bet ween rocks, wells, boreho les, etc. By dril ling
many ho les next to each ot her, it is pos si ble to de tect ob jects with me -
tal di scri mi na ti on se ve ral me ters deep. This pro be is wa ter proof and
can be lo we red into wa ter as well. Sen si ti vi ty de tec ti on is in a 360 de -
gree di rec ti on (el lip ti cal form field), but it is most sen si tive at its tip.
1 me ter coil with 8 tu bes (PS03)
Size and de tec ti on ca pa bi li ties of this coil are equal to that of the 1m
stan dard coil, but it is con struc ted from 8 tu bes. This ma kes the dis as -
sem bled coil smal ler, ho we ver, the as sem bly is more complex.
2 me ter coil (PS04)
This coil mea su res 2 x 2 me ters and is con structed from 8 tu bes. It is
espe ci al ly use ful for se ar ching lar ger are as sin ce a larger area can be
se ar ched in less time. Fur ther mo re, lar ger ob jects can be de tec ted 30
to 40 % dee per than with the 1 me ter coil. But plea se take into ac count
that the sen si ti vi ty to smal ler ob jects will be re du ced. The coil fits into
the same carrying bag used for the 1m coil.
Uni ver sal se arch loop with 8 me ters cir cum fer en ce (PS05)
Size and per for man ce of the uni ver sal se arch loop are equal to the 2m
coil, but it co mes wit hout plas tic tu bes. This me ans that it is not as
quick to as sem ble as the ot her coils sin ce it has to be fi xed to a fra me
first. But it of fers some im por tant ad van ta ges:
