Connectors and indicators on the rear panel

  COIL/CHARGER  

Dif fe rent si zed search coils can be con nec ted here. Push the con nec tor
plug in all the way be fo re tur ning the slee ve on the plug. Lo cking the
plug will keep the con nec tor from pul ling out. Fur ther mo re, the built-in 
bat te ry can be re char ged via this con nec tor.

  HEADPHONES  

You can con nect any type ste reo he adpho nes with a ¼ inch (6.3 mm)
plug here. The built-in loud spea ker is au to ma ti cal ly tur ned off when
 headphones are plug ged in. The he adpho nes should have a mi ni mum
im pe dan ce  of  32  ohms.

  CHARGING  

The green LED in di ca tes that the bat te ry is char ging.

  BATT. FULL  

The red LED in di ca tes the bat te ry has been ful ly char ged. The char ging
will  au to ma ti cal ly  be  stop ped  and  the  char ging  elec tro nics  chan ges  to
hol ding sta te. The char ger can be re mo ved. See chap ter 9 for de tai led
charging instructions.
