As sem bling the 1m and 2m coils with 8 tu bes (PS03 and
PS04)
The as sem bly of the se coils is si mi lar to the pro ce du re de scribed for
the 1m coil. In ad di ti on to the cor ners, four tu bes have to be con nec ted
in the middle. Here it is par ti cu lar ly im por tant to en su re that all tu bes
are al ways in ser ted as far as pos si ble to en sure a rigid frame.
The ca ble in si de the se coils is qui te long so that they can be dis as sem -
bled. This re sults in a ca ble sur plus when as sem bling the coil. This ca ble
sur plus must be fol ded to form a loop (figure 5) which can then be in -
ser ted into one of the tu bes. Fi nal ly, the last two tu bes can be
connected.
Of cour se, the loop must be pul led out of the tube when dis as sem bling
the coil.
