Die Außenflächen des Medizinproduktes
mit einem desinfektionsmittelbefeuchteten
Einmaltuch oder mit einem gebrauchsfertigen
getränkten Desinfektionstuch wischend
reinigen. Alkoholbasierte Mittel sind aufgrund
proteinfixierender Wirkung und möglicher
Materialunverträglichkeiten nicht zu verwenden.
Die Angaben des Chemikalienherstellers bezüglich
Materialverträglichkeit und Einwirkzeit des
Desinfektionsmittels sind zu beachten.
Am Ende der Einwirkzeit ist die Oberfläche
mit einem trockenen flusenarmen Tuch nach

8. 3  Manual wipe-down disinfection

Wipe-clean the exterior surfaces of the medical
device with a disposable cloth moistened with
disinfectant or a ready-to-use soaked disinfectant
cloth. Due to their protein-fixating effect and
possible material incompatibility, alcohol-
based agents must not be used. The chemical
manufacturer's specifications concerning material
compatibility and necessary exposure time for
the disinfectant must be observed. At the end of
the necessary exposure time, wipe the surface
with a dry low lint cloth. Clean and wipe down
the cover slips of the VITOM

the telescope and lighting, making sure that there
