10.3 Replacing the air filter
All sealing surfaces have been designed to match each other. The use of an unsuitable air filter
can permit dirt to enter the pressure system, thus causing damage to the machine.
Material Spare part
Precondition The power supply isolating device (plug/plug connector) is switched off (all poles),
the device is locked off,
the absence of voltage has been verified.

➤ Shut down the machine using the «OFF» key.
Changing the air filter
1. Unscrew and remove the cover.
2. Remove the air filter and dispose of according to environmental protection regulations.
3. Clean the air filter housing and sealing faces.
4. Insert the new air filter.
5. Replace the cover and screw down tight.
6. Switch on the power supply isolating device (plug/plug connection).
10.4 Checking the safety valve
To prevent the safety valve seat from sticking it should be activated regularly, but at least once a
year.
The relevant safety valve opens to protect the machine if the permissible maximum gauge
working pressure is exceeded.
➤ Never operate the machine without a correctly functioning safety valve.
➤ Do not adjust the safety valve.
