5.2.1 Risk of falling due to vibrations or negligence
➤ Avoid machine vibrations on vibratory installation surfaces.
➤ Position the machine only on surfaces with sufficient load-bearing capacity.
➤ Lay power cables and compressed air hoses safely to protect personnel and machine against
damage.
➤ Securely fasten the machine to reliably prevent it from falling.
5.2.2 Ensuring ventilation
Adequate ventilation fulfils the following requirement:
■ The ventilation evacuates the exhaust heat of the machine and thus ensures the required oper‐
ating conditions.
➤ Keep the inlet and exhaust apertures free of obstructions so that the cooling air can flow freely
through the machine.
➤ Ensure clean air in order to support the proper functioning of the machine.
5.2.3 Operation in a compressed air network
When the machine is connected to a compressed air network, the network working pressure may
not exceed the maximum working pressure of the machine.
➤ Consult KAESER for advice on this subject.
