➤ Before starting work on the frequency converter or intermediate circuit capacitors, wait at
least 5 minutes.
➤ Do not open the housing while the machine is switched on.

10.2 Following the maintenance plan
10.2.1 Document maintenance work
The maintenance intervals given are those recommended for KAESER original components
with average operating conditions.
➤ In adverse conditions, perform maintenance work at shorter intervals.
Adverse conditions are, e.g.:
■ high temperatures
■ much dust
■ low load
➤ Document all maintenance and service work.
This enables the frequency of individual maintenance tasks and deviations from our recom‐
mendations to be determined.

10.2.2 Regular maintenance and service work
➤ Carry out maintenance work when the corresponding maintenance message is indicated on
the controller display.
Maintenance numbers can be displayed by using service function 4, see chapter 8.3.6
When operating conditions are unfavourable (e.g. due to dust or humidity), or during periods
of heavy use, carry out inspections more frequently or have them performed by
KAESER SERVICE.
