DC Power Supply in the NSM4000 Appliance
An NSM4000 appliance ships with a single AC power supply module. However, you can
use a DC power supply, shown in
Figure 5 on page 17 , to power the appliance.
NOTE: While it is possible to provide redundancy in the NSM4000 appliance
using a combination of AC and DC power supply modules, we recommend
that you do not provide redundancy in this manner. Instead, use two DC power
supply modules or two AC power supply modules if you want to provide
redundancy.
