Communication objects
You can control up to ten mas ter-s lave groups with the KNX Sonos Gateway. There is an identical s et of
communication objects for each mas ter-s lave group. The functionally identical communication objects in the
mas ter-s lave groups each have an offset of 100.

Connecting group addresses to group objects
The following group objects are available for the connection of group addres s es at the KNX Sonos Gateway.
The s hortened for "group" is sometimes used for "mas ter-s lave group" in the communication
objects tables.

Fallback in the event of a fault
If playback does n't work, becaus e the Sonos playback queue is empty, the firs t
playlis t entry is s elected as a fallback. Announcements are omitted, however, s o a
following playlis t entry may be s elected.
Example: Playlis t entries 1 and 2 are configured as announcements . Playlis t entry
3 is not an announcement. The s ys tem wants to s elect the firs t playlis t entry as a
fallback, but it is an announcement. The s ys tem now tries playlis t entry 2, but it is
als o an announcement. Playlis t entry 3 is not an announcement and is played.
