Mounting the device
KNX Sonos Gateway may only be as sembled and ins talled by qualified electricians . Specialis t knowledge of
the ins tallation regulations is a prerequis ite.

Only qualified electricians may ins tall and mount electrical devices .
Follow the ins tructions in this product manual.
This product manual is part of the product and mus t remain with the cus tomer.
INSTALLATION ENVIRONMENT
Device functional fault due to incorrect ambient temperature in the installation environment
Pay attention to the ambient temperature of the installation environment: Min. 0 °C to max. 45 °C
Do not mount the KNX Sonos Gateway above heat-emitting devices .
Ens ure that there is s ufficient ventilation / cooling.
WARNING
Danger of electric shock
An electric s hock can res ult from touching live parts in the ins tallation environment. Electric s hock can
caus e death.
Pay attention to the ins tallation regulations :
Route the bus line with the s heathing intact until it is clos e to the bus connection terminal.
Firmly pres s the bus line into the bus connection terminal as far as pos s ible.
Ins tall bus line conductors without s heathing (SELV) reliably s eparated from all non s afety low-voltage
cables (SELV/PELV):
Maintain the s pecified clearance.
Us e the s upplies cover cap if neces s ary.
