5.2.1.2 Bead breaking in SPORT mode:
After having clamped the wheel and entered the rim
diameter (

5.2) and the Demount operating function;
• Select the SPORT mode.
1. Activate the lever ( 2, Fig.4.1-2 ) to start the bead
breaking procedure of the lower bead.
2. Release the lever and press the pedal to continue
the rotation only, to lubricate the lower bead well.
Once the bead breaking of the lower bead is completed
the program proceeds with the upper bead.
• Proceed as described in steps “ 1 , 2 ” of the previous
paragraph “ Removal of the upper bead “ for the
Normal and Soft modes, then:
3. Position the valve at two o’clock, in relation to the
operator.
4. Position the bead pusher at fi ve o’clock in relation
to the operator.
WARNING : STOP THE ROTATION AT THE RIGHT
TIME, TO AVOID COLLISIONS WITH THE BEAD
PUSHER AND TOOL.
5. Activate the lever to restart the clockwise rotation
and bead hook-up procedure ( Fig.5.2-5 ). The
wheels performs a half rotation and then stops
(“beep”).
6. Activate the lever to proceed with the extraction of the
upper bead.
7. Maintain the rotation until the complete extraction.
8. Follow the indications for the “ Removal of the
lower bead ” set out in the previous chapter.
