4 Mounting and installation of the JVM-407B
Connecting the power supply
This connector is also used to connect digital inputs and outputs.
The illustration below shows the pin assignment of the power supply
connector (as viewed from the cable side):

In order to halve the current load on pins 1 and 12, as well as on pins 11 and
22, all four pins must be connected to the supply voltage as per the above pin
assignment.
The JVM-407B supports voltage drops down to 6.5 V (Cold Crank) without
causing a reset.
To start the JVM-407B, pin 2 (ig) must be connected with pin 1 or pin
12. The ignition control signal is issued when the key is in position Ignition ON .
When the key is in position Ignition OFF , the JVM-407B is able to keep its
status as ON.
