Falls Sie die Befestigungsbohrungen des Motorträgers versetzen müssen, sollten Sie in die vorhanden Löcher Hartholzstücke einkleben,
bevor Sie neue Löcher bohren.
IMPORTANT!!
Even though the engine mounting beams are adjustable, if the width of the engine you use is not within the adjustable range of the beams, you will have
to modify the spacing of the beams. This can be done by removing the blind nuts and gluing pieces of hardwood dowel into the existing holes in the
firewall. You can then redrill the holes to fit your engine's width and reinstall the blind nuts.

Aligning & Installing the engine
Befestigen Sie Ihren Motor auf dem Alumotorträger mit
Langlöchern nur so fest, dass er sich noch verschieben lässt und
rutschen diesen soweit nach vorn, dass der Propellermitnehmer
135 mm Abstand zum Kopfspant hat.
In dieser Position ziehen Sie die Schrauben fest.
Falls Sie lieber einen Kunststoffträger
(nicht im Bausatz enthalten)
verwenden, dann übertragen Sie die Löcher des Motorflansches
auf den Träger, bohren mit 2mm vor, kontrollieren die richtige Lage
und bohren, wenn alles stimmt, auf 4,2mm auf.
Anschließend den Motor mit M 4 x 30mm Innensechskantschrauben,
sowie Unterlegscheiben und Muttern befestigen.
Der Motorzug wurde beim Einbau des Kopfspants bereits
berücksichtigt, so dass nichts unterlegt werden muss.
Set your engine onto the engine mounting beams.
Using a ruler, measure the distance from the firewall to
the front of the
engine's thrust washer. Adjust the depth of
the engine so that the
measurement is 5 - 3/8”.
You may have to loosen the screws and readjust the width
of the beams
to suit your particular engine.
Carefully mark the locations of the engine mounting holes onto the
mounting beams. Remove the engine and drill
5/64" diameter pilot holes
through the mounting beams at the marks you drew.
Be careful that you drill the holes straight down and not at an angle.
Enlarge the pilot holes using a 1/8" diameter drill bit.
Install your engine using four M3 x 30 socket-cap screws,
eight M3 flat
washers and four M3 lock nuts.
Tighten the screws and nuts firmly to hold the engine
securely in
place.

Versehen Sie die Servos mit den zugehörigen Gummitüllen und
Messingbuchsen.
Install the rubber grommets and brass collets onto your elevator, rudder
and throttle servos, making sure to install the collets with the flanges
toward the bottom of the servo.

Schrauben Sie die Servos in der gleichen Lage wie in Abgebildet im
Servobrett fest.
Install your servos into the servo tray, making sure that the servo output
shafts are orientated as shown.
IMPORTANT
We recommend installing your servos into the servo tray
first because it is much easier to do it now, before
installing the servo tray into the fuselage.
